		Is a free Instructor course something I should consider? It all comes down to “you get what you pay for”. You need to calculate the time you will spend working for free to fulfill the contract requirement to get a free IDC. If you will be working for 2 months for free that means you are working for less than minimum wage. If it takes 3 months you are working for $2.71 per hour. At that rate it is better to pay for the class and get a real job in the scuba diving industry to pay for the classes. One last thing to keep in mind, what is the quality of instruction will I be receiving for free?

			Will my internship be a structured program? Most internships are not structured nor have a set schedule. Don’t waste you time and talents sitting in a small kiosk by the road side signing up snorkeling trips. Make sure you will be receiving training and experience under the supervision of seasoned professionals. Ocean Divers internship program will have you working alongside an Instructor or Course Director teaching different levels of instruction. You will also be working with our boat crews assisting our diving and snorkeling guests on the reefs and wrecks of Key Largo
