PADI Rescue Diver

Rewarding and fun – that best describes the PADI Rescue Diver course. This course will expand your knowledge and experience level. PADI Rescue Divers learn to look beyond themselves and consider the safety and well being of other divers. The fun part about this Course is rising to challenges and mastering them. Most divers find this course both demanding and rewarding, and at the end, say it’s the best course they’ve ever taken

What do I need to start?

   
PADI Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying certification from
   another organization)
   PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or qualifying
   certification from another organization)
   Minimum age: 15 years old (12 for PADI Junior Rescue Diver)
   Successful completion of a sanctioned CPR and First Aid program within the past 24
   months. The Emergency First Response Primary Care (CPR) and
   Secondary Care (First Aid) courses meet these requirements.

What will I do?

Rescue Diver training will prepare you to prevent problems and, if necessary, manage dive emergencies. During the five open water sessions, you'll cover:

    Self-rescue and diver stress
    Swimming and non-swimming rescue techniques
    Emergency management and equipment
    Recognizing and managing stress in other divers
    Rescuing panicked divers
    Underwater problems
    Missing diver procedures
    Surfacing the unconscious diver
    Rescuing panicked divers

Three days and includes 4 open water sessions

The course includes boat trips, tanks, weights and certification fees.
Course cost is $475

Where will I be diving?
You will be enjoying some of the best reef locations Key Largo and Pennekamp Park have to offer, including Molasses Reef, French Reef, Benwood Wreck, Christ of the Deep, and Snapper Ledge to name a few. Why not continue the adventure and take PADI Master Scuba Diver Course where you could dive the famous wrecks of the LSD Spiegel Grove and the USCG Duane
